Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame Honors two of CASL's Own

On March 2, the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame honored two of our own during their annual Hall of Fame dinner.
Doug Dennett, long time Chattanooga Area Swim League official, was a recipient of the Walter Lauter Award for lifetime achievement or service to area athletics. Dennett is a former TSSAA sports official of the year who gave much of his time and energy for three decades helping area cross country and track teams and for 25 years to the Chattanooga Area Swim League.
Bill Caulkins, was inducted into the Greater Sports Hall of Fame for his involvement in swimming and diving. For nearly 50 years, Caulkins served tirelessly as the Chattanooga Area Swim Leagues Head Official. After announcing his retirement last March, the League officially coined the City Meet Championships the Bill Caulkins City Meet Championships.
